Now that we have grandchildren, we have been enlightened that our grandchildren should not be overlooked when addressing our "will". During their recent eight-day vacation here in July, a few of the grandkids have made their wishes known: "Grandpa, when you get old, can I have your. . . "
Benjamin (5) requested Grandpa's cowboy boots, cowboy hats, and cowboy shirts. Ben says Grandpa has so many cool hats, one for going to town, one for the office, one for the field, one for church, some for summer, some for winter.Jonathan ( 8 1/2) requests Grandpa's white pickup. It's just like his Dad's!
They would like these when Grandpa grows old.
Joshua realized that Grandpa won't be quite old enough to let his jeep go in six years when Joshua is old enough to drive. He was a little disappointed!
