Branding 2015

Some posts tend to repeat themselves from year to year.  Branding has become a family event that the kids enjoy coming home for, and bringing their friends as well.   The pictures below speak for themselves!

Christmas 2015

Christmas 2015 was the year for another Stricker family Christmas.  The above picture represents our entire immediate family.  The front row includes Kathy, Dad, Mom, Tom and Tim.  Kathy's family is pictured on the left, including Anya, Lilly, Dawson, Mia, Christian, Bobby, Alexandria, Hope and Paul.   The middle and left represents Tim's family, starting at top middle - Val and Alexis, Mathilda, Jonathan, Willa, Ben, Jakob, Sandi, Josh, Janel, Tim, Joe, Ameila, Cash, Penny, and Annie.  That is 30 of us altogether.  32 when the twins are included that Annie is carrying!

We celebrated Christmas together at the Trails West Lodge camp by the river in Scottsbluff.  What a beautiful facility and location. Each family had their own sleeping rooms and we enjoyed games and fellowship and food in the lodge, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas.  The kitchen was quickly filled with food as we all brought food and snacks and goodies to share! The pictures below reflect the good times we shared.

The Event ~ Branding, Babies & Thanksgiving

Branding - November 15, 2014



 It's always a fun day, especially when the kids and grandkids come home to help.  Cash and Annie and Penny and sic of their friends from Colorado came to enjoy the weekend.  Tim and Janel and Jakob, Josh, Jon, Mattie, Ben, Joe, Millie and Willa all came too!  It was a full house.  All of Cash's friends slept two nites on the living room floor!  It's like camping!  The weather was beautiful.  We only had 19 calves to brand.  Done in 1 hour!  But it was still an event

 Banding is always an eventful time filled with family, love, laughter, work, play.  Lots of memories.  It's an eventful "ranch" experience on our little acreage farm!
